The design of this bracelet is inspired by the Derafsh Kaviani, one of the most powerful and enduring symbols in Iranian history.
According to historical and literary sources, the Derafsh Kaviani traces back to the legend of Kaveh Ahangar, who raised his leather apron as a banner in rebellion against tyranny. Over time, this symbol evolved into the royal standard of Iranian kings, representing not only authority, but resistance, unity, and legitimacy.
By the Sasanian period, the Derafsh Kaviani had transformed into a richly adorned imperial banner, decorated with jewels and precious fabrics, carried into battle as a symbol of sovereignty and national identity. It was not merely a flag, but a declaration of power rooted in the will of the people.
This piece reinterprets that legacy through form and material.
Crafted in 925 sterling silver and finished with Italian enamel, the bracelet carries a vivid, enduring surface that reflects both craftsmanship and symbolism.
The structure is designed as a free-size adjustable form, allowing it to sit naturally on the wrist while maintaining its presence.
This bracelet is not just an ornament.
It is a fragment of a banner that once stood against tyranny.
A symbol raised in defiance,
reimagined as something you carry with you.
